Like you, we‘ve worked in IT. We know the sort of clients we – and you – want to work with and avoid those we wouldn’t. We can only identify these clients by getting out there and getting to know them, their people and processes, so that’s exactly what we do. That way, we can give you a better understanding of what they’re really like and why we think you might want to work there.

If we can get it right for you then it follows that it’s inherently right for clients. We get to know the people we meet and promote them to our clients, companies that appreciate talent and trust us to find it. It’s a personal, professional approach, one which goes way beyond anonymously uploading your CV onto a database.

As a 7N contractor, you’re in control of how and where you’re represented. We’re not in the business of spamming CVs randomly. We also appreciate that, even if you had the time, marketing yourself might not be high on your agenda. So we can help with that, too.

Our pricing is simple and transparent. You set your own rates and we add a margin which we often negotiate case by case.

If clients won’t pay the rate you ask, then we feed this back to you and give you a chance to reconsider the rates, the company and the type of work. We can negotiate on your behalf, but our role is as an honest broker and intermediary, not someone looking to maximise their margin.

So - what types of things do 7N consultants work on? We have clients in investment banking, eCommerce, healthcare and software products. We're continually looking for more companies wanting to put great talent to good use.

We have a particular focus on agile and lean methods, and are well-connected in those communities. Client work generally revolves around the custom application development of enterprise IT in a wide variety of roles: developers, architects, testers, project and programme managers, analysts and interim IT directors. We also represent niche micro-consultancies such as agile and organisational transformation specialists, usability experts and test strategy consultants.
